RCM Wire is an India-focused news and industry information website. This policy explains the personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Newsletter subscriptions. If you sign up for the RCM Wire Brief, we collect your email address and may record your subscription source, confirmation status, subscription preferences and unsubscribe status. Reading articles does not require a subscriber account.
Advertising enquiries and bookings. When you submit advertising details, we collect the company name, contact name, business email, selected package, destination link, advertisement copy, logo URL and relevant booking or review information.
Technical information. Our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser or device details, requested pages, timestamps and diagnostic or security logs when you use the website.
Messages you send. If you contact our editorial team, we receive your email address and the information in your message.
2. Why we use information
We use information to provide and secure the website; process opt-in newsletter requests; send requested publications and service messages; communicate about advertising, payments, approvals and corrections; respond to enquiries; prevent spam, fraud and abuse; and meet applicable legal or record-keeping requirements. We rely on consent where required, including for promotional email, and on other permitted grounds for necessary operations and transactions.
3. Newsletter preferences
Newsletter registration uses an email confirmation process when the sending service is configured. We do not add you to the confirmed mailing list merely because you read our articles. If you subscribe, you can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter or by emailing editor@rcmwire.in. We may retain a limited suppression record to honour your choice. The newsletter service may be unavailable during initial setup.
4. Advertisers and payments
Advertising enquiries may be reviewed before an advertisement is accepted or published. If secure checkout is enabled, payment processing is handled by Stripe; RCM Wire does not ask you to enter payment card numbers directly on its pages. Payment providers may handle billing and transaction information under their own privacy terms. Checkout and some advertising services may be unavailable while configuration is completed.
5. Service providers and external sites
We use infrastructure and service providers to host the website, protect it from abuse and support communications and transactions. These may include Netlify for hosting, Brevo for opt-in email delivery when enabled, and Stripe for payments when enabled. Providers process information to deliver their services under their applicable terms. Our articles and advertisements may link to external websites; those websites have independent privacy practices that we do not control.
6. Cookies and usage data
The site may use essential browser or hosting technologies to operate securely, while providers may create technical logs. If optional analytics, advertising measurement or other cookie-based tools are introduced, we will update this notice and provide choices or consent mechanisms when required by law. You can also control browser cookies in your device settings.
7. Retention, transfers and security
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including managing subscriptions, answering requests, maintaining business records, resolving disputes and complying with legal obligations. We then delete or de-identify it where practical. Information may be processed in countries other than your own through our service providers, subject to applicable safeguards. We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your privacy choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent, or raise a concern about our handling of it. Email editor@rcmwire.in with the subject “Privacy Request”. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where legally required.
9. Children and changes
RCM Wire is an industry publication intended for professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. We may update this policy as our services change; material updates will be reflected here with a revised effective date and additional notice where required.
